adisia is an audio advertising service provided by Safaricom for its subscribers.
The service replaces the call connection tone with an audio advertisement targeted to the subscriber when the subscriber makes a call.

The service must not be confused with RBT (ring back tones like Safaricom’s Skiza) which play a tune or a message in the same call connection period but in the case of RBT the person who receives the tune has not consented to hear the tune and the tune is not matched to their personal preference.
The service has been developed to encourage consumers to become a more integral part of the advertising and marketing world. In addition, the service intends to persuade advertisers to embrace consumer partnerships within their advertising models.

The service is designed to be socially responsible sharing the majority of the advertising revenue with the subscribers of the service so they can subsidise their mobile communications cost and or purchase additional services that they might not normally be able to afford without this additional revenue stream.
The service is powered by and maintained by Adtones the organisation behind targeted user rewarded audio advertising across the world.

All advertising on the service is managed through the Adtones’ self-service platform, via the Adtones adisia local direct sales team or through the Safaricom Enterprise Team.
